Join our team to play a key role in expanding and supporting our Family Forward NC® initiative. Our initiative is recognized as the first of its kind to work to improve children’s health and well-being by supporting employers in creating family-friendly workplaces.
The Employer Relations Specialist is a new mid-level position to support our existing work and help develop growth strategies to engage more small businesses, with an emphasis on reaching those that are minority and women-owned.
The staff member will work closely with the Community Engagement Leader who heads Family Forward NC®. The successful candidate can inspire others to act, is an excellent communicator, and a self-starter. Experience in working the private sector, fluency in Spanish, and knowledge of early childhood programs and policies are pluses.
This is a 30-hour per week position and has opportunity for advancement as the initiative grows. Application deadline is February 21st.
