Family Foward NC® Certified Employer Program Workshop

In this exclusive program for certified employers, we will learn about Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (PFMLI). This is a is a publicly provided insurance program that currently operates in thirteen states and Washington, D.C.. Interest in PFMLI is growing as the outcomes documented by early adopting states are showing strong benefits to both employers, and their workforce and families.

Beth Messersmith, NC Senior Director for MomsRising.org will lead this workshop. MomsRising is an online and on-the-ground multicultural organization of more than a million members and over a hundred aligned organizations working to increase family economic security, to end discrimination against women and mothers, and to build a nation where everyone can thrive. Beth leads the efforts of MomsRising’s more than 47,000 NC members, drawn from all 100 NC counties. She also serves as co-chair of the NC Families Care Coalition focused on family-friendly workplace policies.
